Venue E-Sign gets your documents signed online: contracts, agreements, enrollment paperwork, and anything else that used to wait on a printer and a scanner. Signers open a link on any device, review the document, draw their signature, and you get a completed PDF with a full signing record. No accounts for your signers to create, no per-user seat licenses.
How It Works
- 1. Start from a template - we set up your recurring documents as templates with merge fields, so each new document is generated with the right names, dates, and details already filled in.
- 2. Send the signing link - the signer receives a secure link by email, or signs right inside your website or client portal through an embedded signing window.
- 3. Sign in sequence - documents can require multiple signers in order. When the first party signs, the next (a manager, a school official, you) is notified automatically to counter-sign, and later signers see earlier answers already locked in.
- 4. Keep the record - every completed document produces a final PDF plus a signing record showing who signed and when, linked to the document forever.
Features
Templates and Merge Fields
Your standard agreements become reusable templates. Names, dates, amounts, and program details merge in automatically, so nobody retypes a contract.
Required Fields and Initials
Checkboxes, initials, selections, and fill-ins can be required before the document can be signed, replacing the initial-every-page paper ritual.
Embeds and API
Signing can happen inside your own website, application flow, or client portal, and an API lets your systems create documents from templates automatically.
In Use Today
We run our own client agreements through Venue E-Sign, and it powers the enrollment paperwork inside our Student Application Portal: applicants sign their enrollment agreement and checklist as the final step of applying, and the school official is automatically asked to counter-sign. Completed PDFs and signing records file themselves with the application.
Pricing
E-Sign is quoted by how you will use it: a simple send-and-sign setup for your standard agreements costs less than an embedded, API-driven integration. Template setup is included in every quote.
Are electronic signatures valid?
Electronic signatures are broadly recognized for business agreements in the United States under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws. Each completed document includes the signature image, the signer's consent, and a timestamped signing record. For specific document types with special requirements, check with your attorney.
Do my signers need an account?
No. Signers just open the link and sign. Only your side has a login, to manage templates and watch document status.
