We build restaurant websites for restaurants, cafes, bars and other food businesses. Restaurant web design is one of the few areas where you can name what the visitor wants with near certainty: the menu, the hours, and how to get to you. Almost everything else on a restaurant site is in the way.
Menu, hours, directions, in that order
Those three come first and are readable on a phone without pinching or waiting, because that is the situation nearly all of your visitors are in. A menu published as a PDF is a common and expensive mistake: it is slow, it is awkward on a phone, and search engines cannot read it properly, so we publish menus as real pages.
Specials change, so you change them
Menus, specials, seasonal hours and holiday closures are yours to edit through the content management system, from any browser, in the time it takes to write them on a board. We can add online booking for reservations, and an online store with live credit card processing if you sell gift cards or take orders for collection.
Being found before being chosen
Most restaurant discovery starts with a search for food in a place rather than for you by name, so the site needs to make plain what you serve, where you are and when you are open in a form search engines can read. That is largely a structural matter and it is done at build time. Where you want to compete harder for local searches, ongoing search engine optimization is a service we offer separately.
We have been building and hosting websites since 1999, and we maintain the sites we build, which is the difference between a menu that is current and one that is two years old. Whether you are opening, rebranding, or stuck with a site you cannot change yourself, contact us using the support button at the top of any page.
