Our WebDAV Server works with Apple's Mac Calendar application! Apple users can now share their calendars with other Apple Users or PC users using Mozilla's Sunbird software and our WebDAV Hosting.
Our WebDAV Hosting can be used with Calendar to publish .ics files to our WebDAV Server. View calendars in Sunbird, and Sunbird calendars in Mac Calendar. Updates can be set to automatically publish. Calendars can also be viewed with either a public or private (password protected) web site address, which is included with our WebDAV Hosting accounts.
To Publish Calendars - From the Calendar menu, choose Publish, and enter the publish address (without the file name) as illustrated here:
Note: Be sure to check publish attachments and publish alerts if you wish to share attachments or alerts with subscribers. See also detailed instructions for including event attachments.
To Subscribe Calendars - From the Calendar menu, choose Subscribe, and enter the webdav server calendar address (including the file name) as illustrated here:
Notice: Since High Sierra, WebDAV publishing has been crashing Calendar- "The only workaround I've discovered is to not use the 'publish changes automatically' option and to manually republish the calendar after any changes. You don't have to unpublish first, just publish it again." - Reference Apple Communities.
